About MDLA

The Macau Digital Library Association was established on 23 November 2022 to expand access to medical knowledge and support international academic collaboration. It works within the CN1699 academic publishing and media network.

The MDLA Digital Medical Library provides structured medical research resources for medical universities, research institutes and clinical teaching institutions, supporting academic discovery, medical education and research through continuously updated literature collections.

Core collections

Two collections that together support the research process from discovery through to deep reading.

Library S
The SCI Abstract Research Collection. More than one million structured SCI medical research abstracts across 116 medical subject categories, drawn from over 3,000 SCI medical journals, covering clinical medicine, biochemistry, immunology and pharmacology.
Library D
The Open Access Medical Research Collection. Over 4,000 open access journals, for reading in full rather than in abstract.
How researchers work
Subject browsing, journal browsing, keyword search, and combined subject and journal filtering, so a researcher can narrow to a field and follow it over time.
